Company History

A.R. Timmel Farm Equipment was founded March, 1987. It is a quality parts and service business that spans 4 generations in the Upstate NY area.  The first owner, a PATZ dealer, started in the 1950’s.  The second owner took over in the 1960’s through to the early 1970’s.  Art Timmel, the fourth generation and current owner for the past 30+ years, purchased the business from a relative, a third generation owner, who eventually moved on to be a PATZ Corporation district representative.

In the beginning, we only sold PATZ, WIC and HUMANE.  Today we sell and service many other brands, makes, and models of farmstead equipment.

Customer Service

We pride ourselves on having a large inventory of parts on-hand, and available 24/7 emergency service.  Personal customer service is paramount to our business, as with all good businesses. We believe people buy from other people they trust.

We can ship your parts to you via UPS or USPS, but if you’re local, don’t be surprised if we just hand-deliver a package to your door.  We like to meet our customers when we can.

Having over 30 years of experience helps you find what you’re looking for.  In fact, we may just have that thing you need!  If we don’t have it, we probably can tell you who does, so call us anyway.  We try very hard to get you the right part and service the first time to get you up and running as quickly as possible.
